I owe about 10,000 on medical bills and about 5,000 on other unsecured items. I earn about 40,000.00 before taxes. Is there a company who can and will give me a debt consolidation loan with bad credit and no homeownership? I am trying to help myself.

My husband & I have been married 8 years and we are wanting to buy our first home. We have 2 children a 7 y/o son & a 4 y/o daughter. We have been renting all these years & just on this past year we have spent $6000.00 in rent. We figured if we could afford to put that on a rental we could afford to put that payment on a mortgage. Obama called for a Homeowner and Financial Support Act that would provide funds to prevent catastrophic failures in the financial industry and help keep people in their homes.
First of all, Investment banks were all the discussion on the German television. You invest and take the risk.
People, I guess, signed variable rates to interest only loans and were expecting the value of the house to increase some 10-20% in the year are now going to get bailed out.
How can people lose their homes to the banks or lenders? How can you prevent lenders from forclosing your home?

My friend lost his job. He didn’t pay his mortgage for three months. By law how can he protect himself from losing his home until he can get a new job? It does not seem fair that three month’s debt(about $6,000)is equal to a $ 400,000 home that he has at least $100,000 equity in.
With the economy, would banks be more willing to give home loans to people with bad credit at a lower rate?

Giving loans to people that could not afford homes created the housing bubble (which is now collapsing). The housing bubble started in the mid-1990’s when Clinton started pushing for homeownership via ARM’s, subprimes, etc..

My husband and I both have bad credit. But, we are working on getting it takin care of. We finally found the perfect house right price and all. But, we can’t seem to find a company that will give us the loan. We have a co-signer with excellent credit. I have been talking to Chad Cappiello of Ascent Home Loans for a home modification.He called me,I don’t know where he got my number,anyway I need to know If I am not falling into a scam or fraud.I am supposed to give him $300 to start my paper work on 10-26 or 10-27-09.Please help
