I was reading some online news and it was saying that FEDS are meeting today for 2 days to discuss about some rates. And tomorrow (wednesday 2pm) will know about the policy.

1) Will this meeting have any effect on the home loan interest rates ?

2) Do you think the home loan rates for 30yr fixed and 15 yr fixed will come down or go up tomorrow ?

I have an offer from a credit card co with a low interest rate, 2% lower than my home equity loan interest. I would love to get rid of the horrible 8.75% home loan interest on $12,000. What to do?

My mother signed a home equity loan with my grandfather who has just passed, and I am trying to help her pay the bills but the payment on the house is too high. If she refinances could her payment go down? Are there any other options, or any kind of loans or help from anywhere? I am totally clueless this was very unexpected.

i see all the time you can get mortgage refinance rates for around 4.5% but when you speak with someone and then it ends up being 5.5% my credit is good and i’ve been approved but then they hit you with well its 5.5% now etc… what would be some good lenders to speak with ,without all that babbling stuff just explain it in better terms..

Just wondering if anyone had any information about being able to refinance a home equity loan to receive a lower rate and if so, how to go about doing that.

my home been paid off years, so getting home equity line was quiet easy.My home valued at 250000.00 and my equity line is for 100000.00. I’m in residential construction, so you know these are terrible times for us. having max out equity line i can,t aford the monthly note.can i or should i refinance.

We currently have an interest only loan with an interest rate that keeps climbing. We want to get it paid off but there’s no way with the current loan we have. Any suggestions?
