Debt Consolidation Loans for people who don’t have homes and have extremely bad credit.?

I owe about 10,000 on medical bills and about 5,000 on other unsecured items. I earn about 40,000.00 before taxes. Is there a company who can and will give me a debt consolidation loan with bad credit and no homeownership? I am trying to help myself.

Freddie Mac allows 4 homes max. Is it a maximum of 4 homes on title, or a maximum of 4 home loans?

I have a one bedroom home and it was appraised at $47,000 6 years ago. I want to get a second mortage to consolidate credit cards but don’t have enough equity. Would making my dining room into another bedroom increase my home’s value? Or do the appraisers go by the total square footage? By how much would it increase in value? The room will be about 10×9.

How can people lose their homes to the banks or lenders? How can you prevent lenders from forclosing your home?

My friend lost his job. He didn’t pay his mortgage for three months. By law how can he protect himself from losing his home until he can get a new job? It does not seem fair that three month’s debt(about $6,000)is equal to a $ 400,000 home that he has at least $100,000 equity in.

We have someone to help co sign but her debt to income ratio is not good eventhough her spouse pays most of her bills. Any suggestions? Our credit is less than perfect so we cannot get approved on our own.

I hear that a lot of lenders will not deal in manufactured home loans, so I wondered who I should turn to to get a loan to buy a used manufactured home. It is already in a mobile home park and you are paying lot rent each month for the land it is on. So…what is the best way to do this? Does anyone have any idea who the lenders like this would be in the Tampa, Florida area? I don’t care if the lender is local, just want to find a few to compare that deal with such a loan and what kind of down payments would be required and what kind of interest rates are available for people with decent credit.

Hi there, a friend of mine owned two homes with mortgages on both. He lived in one home (Primary Residence) and his wife (Works for a non-profit company) goes and works out of city for two days a week and she lives in that second home while she is out of town. Recently, the friend died and his wife wants to sell one house and use the equity to pay-off the mortgage on the other house. Will she have to pay taxes or is there some kind of survivorship/death laws that help a widow out? They live in Ventura County, CA

I am considering buying a modular home in Missouri. I know there are extra costs besides the home…was wanting to know where to go for a loan, how much I need down, what is needed (like home insurance and how much that costs)…Any information would be great because my boyfriend and I are very young and first time buyers…so we need a good starting point. We are going to the dealer, but would like to know about financing options.

many homes are not selling at auction,and lenders still have to pay taxes etc. on all the foreclosed homes, if they sit empty ,it seems the lenders will sink eventually, so why not allow the foreclosed buyer to remain in the home and renegotiate the loan so its affordable over a longer length of time? this seems like it would benefit all involved in a more positive manner.

If I give my keys back to the bank because the morgage on the rental is $380,000 and similar houses are selling for $330,000 can the bank come after me for equity that I have in my primary residence ($85,000)? I can’t make the 2 morgage payments any more and I keep getting screwed by tenants who have rented it.

he was starting a program where lenders get paid to help people with high mortgages get lower mortgages. how can we find out about this program and if it is in effect now
the program was for people that didn’t have good credit scores and had to take high interest loans now to get lower interest loans and the mortgage company would be paid to refinance them.

We purchased a house last spring. We would like to be able to drop our morgage insurance in 2 or 3 years instead of the like 10 years they plan. We were told to increase the equity in our property and then have it reappraised. But we are confused on what will raise the equity. The house is in great condition and nothing really needs to be done.

In a book I read, it said basically you get back dollar for dollar what you put in from paint to new windows and doors. We have put in new carpet and painted. And are planning a small bathroom redo… mostly just to get rid of some terrible wall paper. We are considering a new patio door also. The only thing other then that is we need some added insulation in the attic. I don’t know that would add equity. But what else can we do? And how do we know if something helps our equity?

I am trying to buy a house but have had nothing but disappointment with morgage rates. Everyone says a 5.5% is good but with insurance and taxes it makes monthly notes redicilous. My kids are buying a $230,000.00 house for $200 more than I will pay a mo. for 140,000.00 house. Can anyone explain? Thanks.
