Why would you need a history of home mortgage loans? The companies do not release personal information. They will not tell you which company hold the best records for issuing mortgages.

Your question needs to be more specific…

    Are you asking about…

    the lenders?
    interest rates?
    number of refinances annually?
    number of purchases annually?

The list would be near infinite if you are asking for each person’s mortgage statements for the last 50 years, which you wouldn’t be able to obtain anyways, unless you just wanted tax records… that’s public, good luck@

Loan Officers are usually commission…so interest rates will vary from not only lender to lender but also within each loan officer at that company. Sad but true. Which rates are you speaking of? Coventional, Government, Home Equity Loans? There are so many programs. Once you decide which rate you are looking for…go to hotbot.com and type in “History of conventional interest rates” and you will find some sites that will give approx. rates over the years.
